When I couldn't sleep in the middle of the night...this is what I woke up to:)....an email update and picture!....

She is SO sweet!!! She is very smiley and so happy! We are having a girls sleepover tonight so hopefully she will be better rested tomorrow- they are exhausted!
Alyona...we can't wait to meet you and wrap our arms and hearts around you! Our prayer is that, even in the midst of the language barrier, you know the love of God for YOU! We know we are no different than you are without Him...orphans. We've been busy around here! Working hard so we can set aside lots of time for enjoying, fun and experiences. We can't wait for you to meet our friends, go to our church, eat as much food as you want (maybe YOU will appreciate my mediocre cooking!) and see the smiles on your face as you delight in His creation and people!! We're excited and it looks like God has already answered one of our prayers according to this email...that you would be excited! We are too...let's GO!

Will continue to pray for your family and Alyona. I would love to send a care package to her... something personalized (embroidered with her name). We can't contribute financially right now but I know I can create something hand made just for her. Will get it out by end of the week.
